“I have always loved reading and music, allowing the words of books and songs to influence my feelings and movement. As a dancer and choreographer, I access these feelings as I tell stories through dance, expanding out of my quiet self and finding ways to be bold and loud through movement. Finding authenticity in the creation of my work as well as within the dancers are important to my craft. I play with the circularity of pathways in the mind and body, creating spatial representations of my perspective. I strive to create dance sourced from the heart. “
